medis, i think kalbs meant that the eagle was for SS. you'd need a Wehrmacht heer eagle for that DAK cap.

Got those from HK, kalbs? Yes, buried amongst the belts and stuff at GI Military shop. But, the worst is I probably spent about US$700 on stuff from the web this weekend for British gear and uniforms. British Canteens are getting hard to find. JG (Jungle Green) stuff and uniforms are even harder to find.

Nice haul Toyman. You have some of the stuff I would like.
Note the helmet is not Russian but a Czech M53, size 2 shell. The shell is a copy of the Russian Ssh39 however but the liner and chinstrap is way off. Russian Ssh39's WW2 used web straps with a different 3 sling type liner. You can use the M53 for impression though, just change the chin strap, no one will see the liner through your head.

You got me started on the Brit road jim : ) with that paratrooper impression.
Yes Kalbs, definitely the helmet details are off tangent, and its a czech surplus, will work on that chinstrap though.
Medic, there are a lot of creative ways we can pack it in a balikbayan box, unassembled : ) with kids toys and corned beef : ).
Albert, thanks again for posting, really happy with this set, but I feel a little silly dressing up in full gear all by myself in front of a mirror in my apt. .... oh where... o where can I play airsoft and finally get these gears field tested!
Yeah, the tommies are coming to town!
