 Wow jnmodeller, that looks like a Colonel uniform based on the rank on the collar. Usually the IJA officers would have the dark olive green uniforms, while the IJA enlisted personnel use the khaki brown M98. Thank you for sharing this. This will be very useful for team members who would like to have it stitched locally.

@mc, dude how about the taiwanese volunteers of the ija that was sent here? do you have any file photos? the only identification i know from this unit is the BOLO type or chinese looking type of a sword?

@mc, I REMEMBER , donn told me theres alot of the plastic helmet in japanese style helmet.. well..im thinking of joining you and raja on that ija impression..hehehe.. thou hope that helmet can withstand the BB's in battle.(^-^)

Yes those pictures are of the IJA during their Philippine campaign. They're from that 1943 Japanese book commemorating their successful campaign in the Philippines. They're all Philippine pictures.
