Thanks kalbs, I highly respect the opponent. But am against the atrocities they have done. The uniform they have, if worn on the airsoft battlefield (still) draws more fear factor against any fighting force (add on bayonet).
Imagine if the IJA did take the Philippines and won the war. We would have PSP & PS3 all made in the Philippines. Hahahahaha.
I know someone who have make an accurate reproduction of the Japanese ammo pouch & belt & bayonet frog since he is a leather maker & he has the pouch & belt & bayonet frog. Those interested, I may help you there, just mail me your number or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have no access in my computer system in my office to post the photos here. I can send you the photos of the repro.
Sorry I pressed the wrong botton, sending the message before I placed the message for you. I request / favor from you if you can send me the soft file photo of the scan copy of the paintings of Japanese WWII uniform you posted so that the bytes will be bigger & quality will be better also at my e-mail email@example.com.
Sorry I pressed the wrong botton sending the initial message before I add this message. I'm also planning to ask the leatherer friend of mine to reproduce me a Jap belt, 2 ammo pouches which I willl use to reenact as a Filipino WWII Guerilla fighter wearing a Jap captured webbing. Anyone of you interested to have the same repro, you may give me your e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can reproduce it all in the same time. I can send the photo sample on the mail, I cannot send a photo here, I have no feature or access in my PC system here in my company.

These are photos from the 2006 Marching Through History event. I was with the Japanese reenactors who made their first appearance there. The audience loved it when we marched en masse. I think most of the pictures here were taken by legionaire.
Here I am at our base camp. I wanted to display my knee mortar webbing.
Some of the other reenactors.
During a battle reenactment (which included tanks and planes)
These planes signalled the start of the reenactment. They flew over us pretending to straff us.
The guy on the left flew all the way from Japan to join us. There were three of them at the event, and they can barely speak English.
Russian reenactors mixed with us (wore our helmets) and let us use their small cannon.
Here are the Marines.
And finally, our troops after the battle.
I'm holding the flag in this shot.
And that's one of the Russian reenactors to my left. He looked Japanese from a distance.

louiejo1: I have designed and built a pretty faithful reproduction of the WW2 Japanese Type 89 Knee mortar for airsoft use. I takes standard 40mm gas grenades and has an effective range when held at a 45 degree angle of 120-130 ft.
