Kamerads, I'm not an expert in Wehrmacht impressions, so I need your opinions... ;D
I have a DAK olive green tunic but I don't want to do the usual desert looking soldat. Are there any other impressions that I can do for this kind of tunic?
Gear that I have: Y-strap and A frame (black) Belt and WH buckle (black leather) Sand Yellow bread bag Gaiters (green)
What can you suggest for an impression where this kind of tunic was used other than in Afrika? Were they used in Italy? Pictures will be a great reference.

Authorized to be worn in Southern Europe, probably Southern France, Italy etc. Chances are though by Summer 1944 they would quite rare. When it comes to German stuff, anything is possible. I've seen pictures of Handshar SS wearing tropical SS tunics late war so maybe same for the Heer.
