I thought it would be cool to have a thread featuring our WW2 book collections. I didn't know where to put this, so I flagged it under general discussion. Here are some of my books: They are (L to R): Top Row - Time Life: The Nazis
- Time Life: Blitzkrieg
- An Illustrated History of the Nazis
- The Victory in Europe Experience
Middle Row - Witness: Magnum Photographs from the front lines of World War II (Bought from the Ste Mere Eglise Museum)
- Uniformes et Coiffes du Troisieme Reich (In French, bought from the Ste Mere Eglise Museum)
- Normandy 44 D-Day and the Battle of Normandy (Bought from the Ste Mere Eglise Museum)
- Blitzkrieg 1939-41
Bottom Row - USMC Uniforms & Equipment 1941-45
- Deutsche Soldaten
- Hitler's Army (AMAZING BOOK)
- World War II GI: US Army Uniforms 1941-45 in Color Photographs
- Images of War: The Artist's Vision of World War II (being an artist, this is a standout in my collection. Contains art made by front-line soldiers, and those at the home front.
Please share yours

Actually this is a great post and got me thinking. We often review guns and gear but rarely one of the most important parts of our hobby... Books! Maybe I'll start a book review section.

Hey kalbs (I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to call you), thanks! Yes, it would be a great idea. I'm a contributing writer for Fully Booked magazine, and I usually review books on--surprise, surprise--warfare. In fact, the latest one I did became the cover story: John D Lukacs' "Escape from Davao" - a dramatic retelling of the only successful escape from a Japanese POW camp in the Pacific theater. If you do decide to start a section, please do move this thread. And as a starter, I'll get it moving by reviewing "Hitler's Army", which is arguably one of the best books on the German army that I've ever read.

I've read Hitler's Army too. That's the one from the editors of Command Magazine, right?
