No, it's not that polyurethaine varnished 'collector's item' with its own display case displayed at MAS. That one costs over P40K.
Opoy told me yesterday he's getting the 'cheaper' version (around 20 pieces daw) of the 'ordinary' M1 Garand. If you consider P23,000 cheap, that is.
Your thoughts?

I think there were couples of marushin garand version out in the market, these where the few I know

-there was the first version - low fps (to comply w/ Japanese regulation), limited to HFC134a and using greengas would break it easily.
-then there was LD2 system version - new LD2 type of hop up, most say not a good improvement
-then there was the Export model version - improved and the most good among other version, can take green gas means higher fps.
-then came the Limited walnut version - just a pimp out version of export model.

I dont know what Opoy has and i really dont how to differentiate between each version except the walnut limited.

Yes, it is a lot of pesoses. Opoy also has the M1 Carbine gas blowback selling for P20K. I don't know if he sold it already though.

both carbines are gone. a gentleman from the aussie embassy took them. the gas magazines are still here though.

As for deactivated real Mccoys, I just talked to someone who has access to the inventory of Camp Aguinaldo. He says he used to get Garands and Carbines there (deactivated of course) some years ago for about P17,000 each. But he's worried the prices have gone up.
As for me, I'd rather have something that fires.
