Here's the story behind this: I was reading through the 'Head's up' section and saw kalb's post. I got the number of the seller and inquired about it. Asking was P5.5T, but the gun was reserved for a week. I tried trading it for my S-552 but he said he needed a lipoly charger. I didn't lose sleep over it. One week later the guy texts me and asks if I was on my way. Since I haven't heard from him at all, I asked if his first buyer was a bust. 6:35 am the next day he replied that the reservist was a no show. I'm glad my phone was in silent mode, heh heh. He said he was lowering the price to P4.5K, same as Divi price. He lived 10 minutes away from my house. A furious exchange of texts between Albert and me ensued. Albert's advice was to try and get it down to P4K. Once in the seller's house I saw it, still in it's shrink wrap plastic. I offered him 4 bills and it was accepted. Maybe my polo barong outfit intimidated him, heh heh. Now I have a machine gun. I hope it lasts a while before it breaks. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Enjoy it Herr Medic. Careful with the folding stock, that's the weak point.

Be sure to check the gearbox integrity. Let me know if you want me to do the barrel mod for you so that your mp40 can really reach out and touch someone...even stock.

Well, caveat emptor, as they say. Even though the MP 40 was sealed in the box, the curse of the AGM for this gun still showed itself. Battery was dead and the gearbox was shot. Oh, well, Willy's fixing it now. Guess I'm not buying an MP44 anytime soon.

Hi Fella's, I am new to this forum. I have 2 MP40's & 2 MP44's. I have only done cosmetic touch up on the MP40's, but the 44's, thats a different story. 2 repro butt stocks, 1 from Poland, this one took a bunch of work and one from IMA. THe IMA stock is walnut with what appears to be a hand rubbed finish. The killer deal though are the muzzle nuts. Made from steel, using blue prints. 14MX1 LH thread. Well enough about that. I have seen references to the SRC MP40 in the forums from 2010. While I can't seem to locate a thread now I was wondering what the availability is in the Philippines? I would love to snag a new one but everyone in the US is out it would seem. I did email SRC but no response as of yet. Look forward to a response. Best to you! Jim

Hi Jim, you've got to post those guns! We would love to see 'em. As far as the SRC MP40's go, as far as i know, they're sold out at the local supplier. Also, despite the glowing reviews everywhere i've heard there are problems with the magazine from 2 of our members who bought them.
