i'm ok if the sizing even if it does not fit me, would use it as a template to create a reproduction battledress anyway (the original might fit my son ), made a rough estimate of the gears included, and its not bad for $5oo dollars for some original stuff (hopefuly) although i would want to compare it to the china repros just to appreciate the quality and price.

I doubt $500 at starting till end, well you know how eBay goes.... price can fluctuate specially in the last seconds of the auction.

well, i'm based here in Baltimore for the next two years, so I might just have a shot at it, i remember vaguely that it was posted before at a much higher price, but nobody bid on it, if it stays at 500, do you think its a good buy?, am not well versed on british gears.

My opinion is you may complete the set almost half the price, if your patient enough to check ebay always, the helmet cost may not reach a hundred in some listing...im a bargain hunter i love getting stuff on a lower cost than the usual.

yeah I agree kalbs, there's nothing like the thrill of the hunt : )... but i might just make this a good starter kit to work further with details in the end, sometimes, ebay could be so addictive, can't get a decent nights sleep on some items when bid due date is nearing : )
... and mon, your making me think about that concern on the empty webley holster... hahaha... whisper me a good number... : )

If i had the money....i'd buy it in an instant. British gear, let alone ORIGINAL WW2 british gear is relatively rare and usually very expensive. So if this is original gear, i'd get it in a flash.
