If its 6mm, then it must the new garand. Its the follow up to the 6mm M2 carbine they released earlier.

Yesterday was flea market day here in Southern France, so I was able to check out two flea markets. Apparently, WW1 & WW2 gear is still available... One vendor had several pieces of Scottish, British, Australian and German gear. Only the German gear was WW2, the rest was WW1. He had a German 31 pattern luftwaffe canteen for sale. It was complete (canteen, cover, cup, harness) The neck had a 37' date stamp. It was in relatively good condition, with minimal small dents. It was being sold for 60 Euro.

Saw several real deal German WW2 badges at a flea market earlier today... One was a black wound badge. All were in good condition. Average price was 40-45 Swiss Francs but it's a flea market, so those prices are negotiable.

Did you get them? And more importantly, are you going to sell them when you get here? heh heh.

No, I didn't get them as I had already bought a lot of pre- and post WW2 Swiss uniforms and field gear when I saw them. That particular flea market is a once a month thing, in the town/ village of Nyon, held on the last Sunday of every month. I'll be going there again the end of August so I'll probably pick up some of that stuff. Incidentally, the village of Nyon was one of the principal Roman settlements in Switzerland. Saw some nice Roman ruins yesterday as well!
I'm going crazy with all the European militaria gear over here! I'll be going to Spain & Italy as well, so I'll see what they have there. Flea markets are much cheaper and more interesting that militaria stores.
