Nice find, these were very limited indeed. Used in PTO. Limited use such as the T26 Tanker Garand.

Very limited use as it was a custom piece made from the M1919 stinger from USMC and Navy fighter bombers. I believe it was only used in Iwo Jima (not 100% sure). The problem with it was that you could only get off a few burst before you ran out of ammo. However, each burst was about 15 to 20 rounds. Another problem was barrel overheating and the shear weight of the stinger.

isnt the gun they mount on the glass haus bombers? b25, b52,etc? i guess it kicks stronger than a mule.... thats a wow! gun.

isnt the gun they mount on the glass haus bombers? b25, b52,etc? i guess it kicks stronger than a mule.... thats a wow! gun. No, those aircraft used the M2 .50 cal. The B52 is a post ww2 Jet Bomber aircraft and still in service (the 52 used a 20mm or mini gun in the tail). The stinger is a .30 cal
