thanks gman for the link, am actually trying to secure a real one so I can cast, they dont come cheap, got a chance to purchase authentic clips.
Actually the ammo will be a lot trickier and requires very creative ways of packaging into a "sculpture"... I am actually trying to source a local shop in mla to buy them since I'm trying to secure a canvass belt for the M1919 browning, and its around 200-250 rnds-- got a sampling of how heavy they were.
Mon, it was a flea market-- I caught some fleas-- really cheap ones hahaha.

Vaz, I askeds my supplier for scrap brass for my sculpture to source out some 30 cal casings-- I have a lot of M16 ammos, and a number of 50 cal, once I secure some, am planning to just buy the bullets and have them fitted in the empty cartridge, or I may just cast rigid resin bullets instead... will keep you posted, when will you be back in Mla.

Thats a great news Toym, and we need plenty of 30 cal cartridge..... i already have a 250rnd canvas belt, will it be lighter if the projectile (Bullet) is cast from resin??
Be back at Ph on 1st day of April but passing by HK on 31st to pick up my M1928 kit from Kalbs... weeee

Got this in a thrift shop the other day for Php 50.00... US Army khaki shirt. A rough time frame for this would be 1941, so it was around and used during WW2 and was still being issued and used in 1952, as the ink stamp on this one indicates. I've seen WW2 dated versions of this being sold on ebay. Has a "Berlin Command/ Brigade" SSI with rank on both sleeves, all cut-edged. The rank patches have a blue background with OD stripes. No tags, just faded ink stamps. It has pinholes on both collars like some type of device used to be pinned there. Looks like OD colored thread was used to sew on the patches. I normally ignore khaki stuff in thrift shops coz there is so much of it, but the Berlin SSI screamed at me. From what I can make out from the ink stamps.... SHIRTS COTTON UNIFORM STAND UP COLLAR HENRY I. SIEGEL CO INC 2 Jan 1952 QM SPEC NO MIL (too faded to read) PATT DATE 8 JULY 1940 NYQMPA ___________________ INSPECTOR This was more expensive... Php 200.00. USMC 3rd pattern utilities, OG-107, cotton sateen. I believe this type was used in Vietnam. EGA on left pocket. Tags are too faded to read. ]

I just bought a weapon used on both sides during the war: a harmonica It's a starter one. I'll probably get the Hohner ones (that look more like the ones used during the war) when I get better at it. Now to practice Lili Marleen...
