Spanish Mauser measurement‏

Hi Ray, Philip & Friends;

We are about 90% done on WWII Pinoy uniform photos for our book
project "Evolution of the Filipino Warrior's Uniform".
Now we are setting / preparing for the Katipunan / Phil. Revolution
era. The only hindrance we have here are the 2 replica rifles such as the
Spanish Remington Rifle & Spanish Mauser rifle. The Remington rifle will be
harder to make since there is no close replica of airsoft available. While
for the Spanish Mauser, Jim & Mon can help us here. Since there is an
existing WWII German KAR98 Mauser which looks very close to the Spanish
Mauser, we shall be converting our WWII rifle to Spanish model 1893 Mauser.

I believe some of you may have a Spanish Mauser rifle. We the BNK
Phil. ask your help by sending us the photos (it can be in batches) in our
e-mail or in the forum of the different angles & parts of the Spanish
Mauser rifle with the measuring tape on its side so we can have a right
measurement of the rifle like the sample photos below sent by Philip before
for the Spanish Remington rifle. We also need what is the measurement of
the rifle in full lenght (just mail the lenght in numbers in the mail or
forum).

For the remington, i think you can modify an ACM winchester rifle to look the part.



For the spanish mauser, it's pretty close to a Kar98 so the dboy can be converted to one.
