Hahaha. In truth, i wasn't that sorry to see it go. Although it was tough to get all the parts, building it was basically just assembling the parts together. I'm more of a scratchbuilding kind of guy so the thrill is in the building. I'll probably build up another US impression and another garand in the future when funds permit.  Besides, the garand is in great hands. the new owner can help in the fabrication of the metal parts so all of us can have garands.
