Who's got an extra shortened mag clip for M1 garand? Can you spare me a few? 2ndbat cannot cope with the demand due to shortages in available convertible mags. Who knows how to convert?

Doing a little research on shortening the m14 mags. I think it can be done. Shorten the casing, install bent/rolled copper tubing with a follower spring inside. The hard part would be finding a spring small and long enough, with the right tension.

I purchased a box of those king arms plastic M14 mags with the intent of hacking them up to shorten them as a test. I need to get my m14 back from a team mate first. I'll head to Mong Kok this weekend to pick-up anothe PPSh drum mag from Gunner so I'll also look for the shot gun mags. If I find them how many should I buy for you guys?

However my M1 conversion is fitted for M14 Mags. Jim, you're the gun Doctor ;D, can you solve this problem for us before we decide on what mags to get?

The M14 magwell doesn't have to be modified to fit this mag so you can still use m14 magazines.
