Posting my Thompson M1928A1 SMG conversion. Some inaccuracies but will do for me for the time-being. Difficult to find Thompson airsoft SMG from the stores now. Have to combine old parts and a little tweaking to make it look like the 1928. Of course not a blowback ;D ;D

This is what i plan to do with my M1928 too. Did you have to tap new holes in the handguard rail to fit the horizontal handguard? I'm making my handguard out of sintra board. And i'll be waiting for otacon to have a '28 reciever for trade again.

There used to be a marushin ( or marui ? ) 1928 conversion kit but it is no longer in the market. My barrel assembly ( with cooler fins and supressor ) is not the China AGM version. It is a separate Marui conversion kit which include the the fore grip that I got from opoy ( MAS ). The suppressor is a separate piece compared to the AGM version. I bought the AGM version also just to be able to get the Drum Mag which is not being sold separately. All in all I have two Thompson SMG plus the Marushin conversion kit which means that I could convert them into an M1928, M1921 and an M1A1 Thompson SMGs including the "butt-less" Thompson SMG
There was no need to tap a new hole on the handguard rail as the marui conversion kit has the same hole as the M1A1 AGM model (where I got the handguard). The AGM 1921/28 Model has a different hole where the fore grip is bolted to the handrail.
The AGM 1921/28 model is crazy. The receiver is for an M1A1 and the barrel assembly is for an M1921 or M1928.
