Thanks for the tip MC! Unfortunately, just called tuks and it's out of stock... I assembled the main gun today. Cut the screws to length, epoxied bolts in place, cut the pins, dremeled the sharp edges. It's solid. No wobbles. I also test fired it today. Flipped the gun over, put a few bbs in the feed tube and fired. Fires great, no misfeeds (at least upside down). Now i know that it works, i can concentrate on building the drum mag.

The PPSh project is almost done. For the drum mag, i used TM Scorpion drum mag internals, and placed them inside a tin can (for leche flan ). I drilled a hole in the middle for the winder, then secured the internals with screws. For the feed tube, i coiled GI wire around an inner barrel, cut it to length and shaped it with pliers. This, IMHO is the best way to make a feed tube. It won't kink like tubing, and it won't be springy like a spring. The drum mag is fixed (screwed) unto the reciever. BB's are loaded through a hole in the side (i sill have to fabircate a sliding/rotating cover for this). It fits around 500++ bbs. The best part...no misfeeding! What's left to do: 1) cover for bb aperture 2) further secure the mag 3) front and rear sights 4) hop adjustment 5) trigger guard 6) paint job!!!

Excellent sir Jim. You may want to pad the inside of the mag so it isn't a rattle. Did you test fire yet?
My MP28II project start tomorrow. I hope it looks 1/2 as good as yours project sir

Thanks, kalbs. Wouldn't have done it wothout your input and help. Yup, i test fired it. Shoots straight (at least in my limited 15ft testing space) and no misfeeds. Easy to wind. Yes, it does rattle a lot so i do plan to pad the inside of the mag. I'm done making the sights and trigger guard. I still have to make the hop adjustment mech (grub screw). Then paint. Good luck on your MP28! I'll just copy yours when you're done.

Maybe use a cut up plastic tupperware container as a liner inside the drum to silence the rattle.
For the finish, Try Testor's Buffable Gun metal , it comes in a spray can, most good hobby shops should have it. The stuff is awsome.
Truelly a work of Art Jimmi... really, I'm in awe

Beauty shots? I would say that is a 100% knock off. That’s really good work Doc. I can’t wait to have the wood furniture installed. That would give your SMG a good feel to it. So your going Rusky eh?

Thanks, MC! I'll probably take my time with the wood furniture as my woodworking skills are still untested. Nah, not going rusky. Germans love this gun too.
