Hi all. I wanted an entrenching tool and carrier and the ebay shop Memory1945 with seller aviator2046 had the cheapest one. But with my creditcard maxed out, i asked the seller if he accepted Western Union...He said yes. Then i asked him for his western union details so i could send him the money. He then told me to click 'buy now' first...So i did. I asked him again for his details and he only sent them 3 days later. Following his details to the letter, i sent the money the next day. It took him two days to respond, only to tell me that we went and couldn't get the money because the details i used was wrong. I checked the details and they were correct and told him so. 2-3days later, he said he couldn't claim the money again. But i checked with WU, the details were ok. Again i emailed him and finally he said that he tried for a third time, and WU said his name was wrong. Now he wants me to just cancel the transaction because it was a hassle for him. I called Western Union, checked all the details and checked if anyone had tried to claim it and encountered problems: WU said there was no report of anyone trying to claim it, nor was there any report of a problem. He didn't even bother to get off his lazy ass to try and claim it! He was lying to me from the start! Now the prudent thing to do would be to just take my money back (minus the WU fee) and take my business elsewhere...but that's exactly what he wanted! So, i've decided to threaten him with negative feedback unless he claims the money and sends my item. I told him that he said YES to accepting WU, HE sent me his details which i followed to the letter, and that WU has no record of him trying to claim the money. Grrr. So we'll see how this goes. Never again from that seller!
