How to: BAR 10 into a M1903A4

Okay, this project took me a month to make. I used the same wood which I get from Laguna. Prepped and stained in red oak from your local hardware store. I used a BAR 10 for the project. And just gathered ideas form a website abroad on the ‘how to’.



I always had a fondness with old rifles, so I thought of doing a M1903 as seen above. I choose to make the ‘C’ Type Stock with pistol grip opposed to the regular ‘S’ Type stock as seen below.




At the time, I did not take step by step how to pictures with the wood stock. But here were the available pictures that I have in file:

Here is the rifle with out the stain:

I had the metal parts made for me, while I was carving out the wood for the BAR10.

I used a butt plate of a cannibalized M16 butt.

@mc-- i still have the same question..is it posible to convert the kar98k to a springfield??? not for the games but for the p.s. sir.

@dan- it's possible. First you'll have to mod it to fit the bar10 then mod it again to look like the springfield. They look alike so it won't be that difficult...

Hey Masterchief! How long will it take you to put a Bar 10 into a relic of an M1903? I started cleaning this gunstock with a grinder and a file. A sandpaper will not work on a relic as old as this.
Would you be cutting away on the original gunstock to fit in the Bar 10? Otherwise you can just use this as a pattern to make new ones to save this one.
