That's great jim, my real bayonet dont fit my K98 even my Russian bayonets dont fit my AKs, its a challenge if you can mount it on your K98

Hahaha! Thanks guys. It was a product of both desparation and inspiration. Took about 2 hours to do.  Here it is finished with a layer of bondo to fill in the pores of the sintra and painted. Can't seem to get the paint right to make the blade look like metal...

I don't know if it's still available but testor's metalizers will work. They're buffable aliminum and steel colored paints for all metal finish aircraft. You'll need a really really smooth finish, though.

Jim sugestion try to over spay wiyh diluted black almost semigloss coz they put a little oil on it ont the real thing, and leaving the edges silverish, and some dark area on the brown or wood part, ill bring my real one tomorrow for your reference.
