Why full metal Jimmi? Plastic is easier to hack-up

Oh, it's mostly going to be PVC and plastic. But i think the AK body and barrel assembly need to be metal so it can support the weight of the plastic better? I don't want it to fall apart during use. BTW, I'm open to suggestions on how to go about the build..but this is OT. I'll pm you my plans once i draw 'em up so i can get your valuable input.

PVC is quite strong but use the high pressure gray, not white. If you buy a metal receiver get a steel one, not pot metal because the stuff is really tough to drill and file down. I hate working with the pot metal. I also find using the hard copper tubing works very well for barrels and shrouds. There are also lots of fittings and hangers that can be adapted and modified for details.
