I remember seeing this documentary series back when I was in High School. Simply awesome in its scope, depth and intelligence. Alas, I've not been able to find it in DVD or even on VHS.

I had recorded this series on VHS from the Discovery Channel back in the 1990s. I still have it. Though I tried, I couldn't successfully transfer it on to my DVR. I keep getting a message onscreen that this is copyrighted material. Even though I recorded it from cable TV. Somehow, the copyright encryption was also transferred. Glad to see that this is now on YouTube because I did like this documentary series. Footages are great too. I remember being amazed at seeing all the Cold War footages from the Russians.
