The planned Fil-Am Friendship Day dinner by the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society Fort McKinley Chapter pushed through like military clockwork. By 6:30 p.m we converged at the venue and literally stopped traffic, heh heh. Romulo Cafe was gracious enough to let us use the large function room despite our lacking in numbers, the TV news crew arrived and did their interview, and we proceeded to, as they say, have a ball, WW2 style. The food was great and plentiful and so was the wine, the company convivial and animated as gentlemen who share a common interest are wont to do. Period music wafted through the room courtesy of my decidedly modern iPhone and small speakers, and I guess the smiles speak for themselves. Bear with these images first before Albert posts his superior photographs.
