I had a rare humbling honor and privilege to attend the ceremony for Lt. Alexander Nininger in Arlington National Cemetery. He was a Philippine Scout officer with the 57th Infantry PS. He was killed in action defending the Abucay Line in Bataan, and was awarded the Medal of Honor. His remains were never recovered. His nephew, Sen. John Patterson finally was able to get a headstone put for him at Arlington. Here's my little tribute video. Music sounds familiar but after all, its title is "Honor."
