Hello helpful ones!
Any reviews on the M-1903 Springfield? After being soberly advised by Herr Labrador's on the M-1 carbine, is this a better buy then?
And once more, how much, where to buy and what are the accessories available.
Thank you in advance for answering my questions!

Unfortunately, as of now, there are no commercially available airsoft springfields. the way to get one is to buy a deact dummy rifle and fill its guts with a BAR 10. Jimmiroquai would be able to advice you on this as he has done the same with KAR 98's. The easiest way to go is really the thompson or the Garand. Toyman will be working soon on a conversion kit in resin for M14's.

or go for the expensive Craft Apple Works (CAW) M1903 non-firing model gun which retail around $950 then modify it w/ any bolt action BB rifle. what Albert said is true, the best way to have a reliable and skirmish-able US WW2 period weapon is either going for a TM/Cyma Thompson or M14 to Garand convertion, next to it is the Ares Grease gun or a VFC BAR which is a bit more expensive.

Thank you for all your advice! I think I have a spare china M-14 at home that I can modify to a Garand. I would not want to touch my Marui since it has a sentimental value to me. Albert, I would like to touch base with you someday on how to do this, although I remember you gave me some instructions, but I better see what it looks like first before I start making one.
Thank you all for your quick informative replies.

Albert, by dummy rifles you mean the one used for CAT-I and ROTC right?
