HOT. VERY HOT! Actually, the hosts very graciously lent us a whole block to play in. The undergrowth was extremely thick and very challenging. The area would lend itself very well to 'nam scenarios with the brush so thick, engagement ranges would probably be down to 10-20 meters at most. My greatest difficulty was trying to get a functioning skirmish line to work because the brush would generally keep us in column formation. The speedball road was a lot of fun. Starting points for both teams being 200 paces apart at the high points of a dip in the road with trees for cover on either side. I think we can work out quite a few possible scenarios for this place when we become more familiar with the terrain.
For the most part though, people missed the shade. Me? I missed the december weather.
Pics to follow soon!

the speedball zone is good for warmup/quick games. I have a couple of scenarios in mind, but that'll have to keep for next time.
