Hi guys,
Seems my 3 king arms mags have given up the ghost. For some reason, it seems the mag springs have gone bad. They aren't producing enough pressure to push the bb's up the feed tube. Anyone have any remedies? I'll probably need to find some way to get the springs replaced.

I bet your talking about king arms MP40 mags isn't it?. And as for the spring replacement, not sure but try Sta. Cruz Manila near Recto.. seen few hardware selling different kinds of springs on any given length. Btw just a Tip, when storing your mags try to remove all unused BB's loaded inside the mags to relax the spring.

Just to clarify, they used to work properly or they never worked properly? Does baning on the mag help? One of my mags gets stuck a lot. Did you try oiling, filing, releasing the bbs, over and again like i said?

Thanks for the advice guys. when new, they were loading quite smoothly.
I spent the entire afternoon lubricating, filling and emptying the three mags. I discovered that it was more of a problem with the bb's jamming in the feed and blocking the spring. after about 2 hours, i traced the problem to the loader. I tried using the old fashioned straight line bb loader that came with one of my older guns. The BB's fed far more smoothly than with the spring loaded compact loader. Limiting the load to 70 rounds rather than 125 helps a whole lot too.
I also discovered that a slower ROF allows the BB's to load far more efficiently. (found out while using an almost discharged battery). Maybe i should explore reducing the ROF with gears. a quick knock on the helmet also helps loosen the bb's.
Biggest factor though, from testing was the loader.
