Guys,
there are a couple of major games coming up. One's HS5, scheduled for april 3 (sunday), site to be announced, and another one's coming soon (no date yet, but the site is Camp Colorado Springs, 450 fps).
My home team would most likely participate in these events. Anyone here interested?

Major games usually, but not always, means speedball... If it's a milsim event, it has to be WW2 themed, or close, i guess. More than a few of the WW2 airsofters got into WW2 mainly to get away from the usual modern stuff like speedball, hicaps, etc. Personally, i'd like the group to join a big event or two just for the exposure. But it has to be the right event. I guess we're just having too much fun shooting people we know and trust.

gman, can we please know more about the upcoming events? Jim sort of summarizes how many of us feel. don't get me wrong - we're open to new events, etc but well, due to past experiences you can possibly describe us as 'picky'

i agree we should join these big event games for exposure (like bivouacs, tournaments)...well maybe not speed ball. I suggest we should train and practice for these events as well as we must even the odds a little (like having a secondary gun, radios, ghillie suits or night vision)

hey guys! How about another sunday game in Angono? They have taken out the barbed wires around the building as we requested. The Osmak boys wants a mixed game with us.

never fear, these aren't speedball personally we don't like speedball either. Homeland Supremacy 5 is the fifth in a series of annual events, and they're run like day-long bivvies. Admittedly, as with any major games (ie with a lot of players) honesty cannot be 100% expected. So long as one goes in with that expectation, the game should be fun. Here's the link: (still lacking in details except for the date, though, but at least we can all keep watch on this thread) www.filairsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91085&page=18And the other one, Operation Trident 2, is run by our very own suki marshal, BoyP. This'll be at Camp Colorado Spring (antipolo), and 450 fps. Date is still left open, though. www.filairsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100828Anyway, if any of you guys are interested, feel free to coordinate. We're very much interested in joining these two games. See ya!

We should definitely train for it, but, having all of those gear in WW2 counterparts would be really heavy!
