I started collecting to go along with my airsoft Guns which I have the Tanaka Kar98k, Shoei MP44, AGM MP44 and the TOP MP40 (converted to PGC gearbox). This is the first time I've actually layed everthing out. Honestly, I didn't realize I had so much. I have more odds and ends like badges and more helmet covers etc laying around but didn't feel like go on a treasure hunt.

Great German collection, kalbs! I'm trying to finish my heer and DAK impressions. Though i plan to mix and match stuff, as much as i can get away with, to save money. hehe. They really did mix and match in those days anyway. I'd like to get my hands on a bayonet but i'm not sure about the local importation regs on bladed weapons. I'm also trying to convince myself that i don't need to buy the entrenching tool anymore.

Nice collection kalbs. I also like how you laid out your gear and numbered them. Makes for pretty good reference!

Thanks B20
You could number your photos and add a ledgend too. I used Mircosoft Publisher for the above. It's part of the Microsoft Office package. I first created a black filled shape then put the picture on top then adding text boxes. Once done I saved it all as a jpg. I used black because I know that's what the background is on this website. Easy to do.

Very nice! i could only dream of having all those! That Das Reich NCO is one badass with all those medals! I only have a question: is the tank assault badge awarded to panzergrenadiers or just panzer and SP gun crews? And how about adding a close combat clasp like Steiner from Cross of Iron? That'll be great!

The bronze tank assult badge was awarded to armor reconnaissance units, of rifle battalions of panzer divisions, and to crews of armored vehicls other than tanks. The Das Reich was a Panzer division so in this case the award was issued to SS mann of a Panzer rifle battalion. The close combat award was probably more treasured than the Iron cross, I didn't want to over do it to much A good source on badge, awards and rank information www.worldwar2-militaria.com/

Am just reviewing your stuff, kalbs.. and i noticed that you missed labeling the no.21 and the Bread bag (09) and no number for the Gas Mask canister. And i can see that you haven't included your Assault pack yet in the photo. (OT) Btw, got me an Assault pack too together with the tubular ditty bag at Peter's last night. Flik and i got Steilgranate for each of us... got the last two in the shop. Replaced my China MP40 sling to a Japan made. Peter was in a good mood so he threw in an Osprey book- German Combat Equipment 1939-1945... i was flipping the book and he grabbed it and said, ohh just take it and study it, it's yours.

Good eyes one-zero, at some point I will update the picture of my stuff and include the Panzerfaust and new items.
Peter has been in a good mood lately... must be his little dogs he keeps in the shop. All you need now is the zehltban to go with the A-frame. I got mine there too, it's a good repro he sells.
Any lables on the grenades? If so what do they say?

yeah, the A-frame is a good repro.
And yep, there is a label on the grenade... don't know what it says but Peter told us not to peel it away..some buy it just for the label, he said.
