Here are some more pictures of my scale models. These are the last because I have long dropped this hobby. I transformed from a model builder to a model kit collector. *sigh* That was really unintenional. I just bought kit after kit and can no longer find time to assemble them. Plus, I have moved on. So, maybe someday, I may get back to scale model/military miniature painting as a hobby. Maybe. Aside from a Deutschephile, I am also an Anglophile. I was in college when the Falklands War happened and of course during Desert Storm, I found the British DPM camouflage pattern very exotic. I bought a couple of 1/16th resin figures and here are the results: This one is of a Paratrooper making his "yomp" on Falklands. The original figure had a head with a scowl for an expression. I wasn't impressed with the sculpt so I replaced it with a smiling one from Warriors. I sculpted the beret and the para insignia. I made it appear that this guy was enjoying his hike. And here's one from the Desert Strom campaign. I thought it's funny how the base resembles something else. So, I have this mini-vignette titled as "Desert Rat Valiantly Defending A Cookie". Kidding aside, this was built at a time when the SA80 was equally exotic. And last of my built 1/16th figures is of a Modern (late 90s) British Infantry Man. Hope you comment "back" on my models.

i saw a similar model like your paratrooper making a 'yomp' on the Military Modeller mag but yours is better! the HS has more expression, nice choice, adds realism to it
