Great stuff, malegant! I wouldn't be surprised if you somehow got your hands on the actual jump gear (parachute pack etc) for a 110% impression.

@doc Jim: Haha thanks. I owe the 30rd to 20rd fitting to you. As for the parachute packs, it has crossed my mind and I actually found some online, but they're ludicrously expensive.

That STG44 is the start of more things to come..... ;D
That's exactly how I got into this whole WWII reenacting thing.

@bob: Thanks man! zuma: Hahaha the STG44 is for my 82nd ABN pathfinder impression, as a captured weapon. but coupling it with the belt, dangerous possibilities are showing up. haha

Captured weapon, whooo..... ;D
Believe you me, those possibilities will turn into reality!
I used to be a modern airsofter who stopped playing in 2007, until i came across that stg44 (version 2 gearbox, hi-caps, virtually an m4 in wwII clothing) which opened up a whole new world of wwII airsofting for me in 2009.

Pre-loved? Looks like a new romance has blossomed, judging by the smile on your face

Hello again guys! It's been a while since I updated this thread. I took a long time out from purchasing ABN stuff, especially since I completed four D-Day impressions. Now, this thread will be alive and kicking again, now that I'm forming four US ABN Market Garden - Hell's Highway 1944 impressions! One thing I'm doing different this time around is that I'm shopping on Ebay, and for authentic Green/Transitional items! That way, the gear comes in weathered. I'm also having my ATF repro M43 jumpsuit redone by Junrey, to make it thinner and forgiving in our climate. My finds so far: Canteen with Green Cover Green Garand Sight Pouch (?) Green BAR Belt Green Paratrooper's First-Aid Kit Transitional Thompson 5-cell Ammo Pouch Green First-Aid Pouches Green Case, Ammunition, Grease Gun/Thompson Green Wire Cutters Pouch Green M43 + 2 x Green M44 Suspenders Green Pick & Mattock Carrier Invasion Flag Brassard
