Can we use those aerosol lighter fluid in cans with our gas pistols/guns? Does anybody have experience with this? www.justpistols.co.uk/kit.htmDoes this mean that this photo was actually dangerous?  By cesarphotos at 2010-10-24

actually Propane + silicone oil = Green Gas
Some GBBR users in FAS are using Coleman Propane tank w/ gas can adapter for there gas gun...... no idea on the lighter fluid cans w/c is butane

You're right. Lighter fluid is butane.

Back in the 90s, some friends of mine used to use butane for their NBB pistols. They said that it was more powerful but i've never tried it. Aside from being a snob (I only used to use branded FLON), i felt it was dangerous because it is flammable. But nowadays everyone uses the flammable Green gas (propane+silicone oil)....

speaking of flammable....... a gas pistol near a candle light is not a good idea, sorry just concern
