if budget is not your concern, then anything from Atthefront is a good choice (reminder $150 price tag + shipping + taxes c/o local customs)
next alternative is those china made repros from eBay, Hikishop and orikalekta are the few good choices. Quality is not as good as ATF but it will do the job. cheaper than ATF
Last is our local tailor Junray, i think he made a few set before so he know how to deal with it.

My opinion is, if Junray can do it, I'd rather help out a local tradesman.

Also, ordering from junrey will free up funds for all your other gear. Pistol belt/cartridge belt, ammo pouches, canteen, first aid pouch, musette bag, holster, boots, helmet and so on. The availability of cheap alternatives to US based stores is what finally allowed me to get started in this hobby. But, if money is no object, ATF is among the best you can buy.

At the Front is fine, but by chance we got a brownish khaki locally which is also a good shade, try to check all the originals sold on ebay or in goggles it has a brown shade though originals has several shade, and if your reenacting locally its better to have one shade.

Your right this is not bad in fact it suffices by expectations. except for the color though. Looking at the one from At the Front tells us that this is supposed to be fatigue in color? Not the brown shade that jnmodeler wears below? So are you saying that the right color should be a shade of brown? or a darker shade of khaki? Not fatigue? This is also not reinforced right?

remember though that there was considerable variation of shades as many manufacturers were contracted to make these. PLUS (and perhaps this is more important) the shot was done with the camera set in warm tone. I stress though we don'r discourage you from getting ATF as that is probably among the best...you'll probably get manufacturers stamps, buttons and snaps will be more authentic...and so on. Also don't forget to consider the mid price asian distributors like hikishop: stores.ebay.com/HIKISHOP/WWII-US-/_i.html?_fsub=20227585&_sid=151216360&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322Their products and especially their web equipment is very good for the price.
