Hi
just want to check is there any available 5 cell thompson pouch that can fit the 30 round mag. It seems that the only available is the 5 cell that can only accomodate the 20 rounder. Is there any?

I am quite sure there is none. The 5 cell mag pouch is designed for the 20 rounder. Even my 3 cell mag pouch repro has to be adjusted to accommodate the 30 rounder.

20rnd 5 cell mag pouches were used also to carry longer 30 rnd. magazines. They just stuck out the top with the flap wrapped around the edge. This was a common practice as the longer 3 cell 30 round pouch did not arrive till late ww2. The other option is to use the ammo bag.

Below are the dimensions of my origional 5-cell magazine pouch. The pouch has Marui short 20 round magazines inserted. I don't believe the longer mags would allow the flap to close over the top on this pouch as the 20's are quite tight
