Finally completed my FJ impression for 1942-1944 for North Africa, Tunisia, Sicily and Southern Italy. The outfit is composed of the tropen tunic and pants from the now defunct Sigmund Tangsi ebay store, Tropical undershirt using locally sourced linen made by Junrey, Schnurschuhe low boots in dark brown by Mang Ner Lorenzo, DAK M43 hat (this is so old i don't remember where i got it). Badges and buckle from GI militaria HK, and Phil's militaria USA. MP 40 pouches, suspender web belt and breadbag from allmadeups, swedish canteen converted with parts from wephaus, mess kit from wephaus. FJ helmet from AGC airsoft. Photos by JnModeller, Hair and make up by......: As y'all can see i might as well have worn an orange "shoot me" sign at the leafy green grounds of KM 18.

Great impression! Wow. It really stands out...I'm sure it'l blend in better in the summer months. The helmet looks great too. It doesn't sit as high as i thought. Did jnmodeller come in FJ as well? I like the weathered pics below.

If anyone can suggest a private beach where we can bring our guns and shoot various costumes to our heart's delight then lay back for some snorkelling, swimming and beers I'm all for it! Anyone?

Maybe look for a quarry as an option , they offer some dusty desert looking locations.

great impression. actually, the khaki and brown of albert's uniform did have it's uses in the game yesterday- during one scenarios, we were the defending side and he blended well when hee took up defensive positions near a tree beside a wooden fence. heck albert, if i knew you'd be using this, i would have worn my soviet khakis. it gives me an odd feeling when the game organizers refer to us collectively as "team ww2".

Albrecht, have you rescued Mussolini yet?...ha, ha, ha. another wunderbar impression ;D
You could probably use location shots at some monastery nearby. It would look great if you strap some goggles on that helmet, like you just leapt out of a kettenrad or zundapp.
Or you could just hold onto a bunch of grapes, like you landed on some vineyard in Kreta.
Heia Ho Ho!
