yup, got frustrated trying to get the M1A1 so settled with a tommy gun (unmarked cyber gun) and converted it into the military issue, fabricated my wooden barrel had grip, chopped off the tip, and made the rear sights triangular protectors out of angle bars... some work to be done, but the gun is very reliable so far-- got mine for around 6000, but i guess they now sell it at a low of 7000-- not bad - cheap hi cap stick mags cost around 500.

Here ya go: I used sintra board for my handguard. You can use real wood if you want. It's real easy to make because it's just a simple rectangle. The tricky part is the screw attachment to the barrel mount. It's angled on the 1928. But if you get the correct angle it'l be easy. Another option would be to drill and tap a new vertical hole in the barrel mount.

Just use the short screw from the 1928 forward handgrip, angle it a bit. Better still if you want to fabricate a wooden handguard, you can drill a hole slightly tilted to match the angle of the screw. I have both the M1A1 and the 1928 barrel mount. Everything is interchangeable. Just a little force fitting.

Hi vandal,
There's a shop in Pasay called Airsoft Armory they used to sell wood kits for the M1928 to convert it into an M1A1, without any modifications (best to bring your gun though for fitting). When I first asked how much they said it costs P3,500.00 but on further prodding they said they could give it for P2,000.00. The shop's located in a commercial building compound right accross the domestic airport. Try calling 851-6260. Hope this helps.

I had an idea there was one and spent the balance of lunch break trying to find it but couldn't locate it. My office is beside the market but I have no luck locating the place.
