Do Scots, Irishmen and Welshmen really take offense when they're called English? Just curious, sir, 'cause I don't really know that much about British culture.

The TV series Combat was another one that was influencial in my preferrence for ETO. I enjoyed Rat Patrol too and read some Sgt. Rock comics (funny how the sound of their machine guns are "Budda-budda-budda..."). I was an avid fan of Sgt. Rock comics too ( I grew up in that era, he,he) and I would myself draw comics with my own storylines that I would bring to school and have my classmates going ohh..., ahhh plus hollywood war movies like "Is Paris Burning?" and "Bridge at ( or is it of?)Remagen"... Battle of the Bulge and many others. It was the era of war films then. As early as in Grade 6, I was already well versed on the history of the Third Reich, would you believe? I was fascinated with their uniforms! For my age, I already knew about the SS and the Gestapo and for what they stand. I was aware of the holocaust but that did not deter me of my fascination with the German in uniform. So that's why I prefer ETO.
