How to make instant pins and Badge. Some are hard to find and expensive, and most of all if you need it right away , hope this helps. first look for the pin you need online, save it and by microsoft office, be sure to adjust to its original size base on the actual or 1:1 scale, at least 4copies for every design, make sure you got an actual pic not art work. the effect will relay on that, Have it print with photo paper, cut to your desire shape, look for a existing pin, that have the nearest shape. shape by file or grind the pin similar to your subject. or may use plastic card, several layer to give thickness on your subject, i used super glue as my adhesive. cut your photo print on several area , for a 3d effect, always spray a clear coat for protection. use modeling paint Tamiya/Gunze to paint the plastic part, make sure you have the same shade of the printed pin. here how it looks heer buckle with a printed HJ on it, use glue gun to stick it so it will be easy to remove with out damaging your buckle. sport badge

This is a really nice post, especially if doing photo impressions. No need to spend a fortune for a one time event. I like this! I often think about getting badges made locally (China). Russian repro stuff is hard to find. Maybe I will contact these guys: artigifts.en.alibaba.com/productlist.html

This is a great tutorial on pins an all but the pics won't load. And I guess most of the guys here HAVE a German uniform. I'm looking forward to having mine too, this tutorial will soon prove to be very useful.
