To those who are still trying to get their gear together, here are some contacts we can make use of:
Junrey the Tailor (0918)2582486 - this is jnmodeller's contact. Coordinate with either of them. But most likely he will refer you directly to the tailor. Junrey made my M41 field jacket and jnmodeller's airborne uniform.
Valentino's in COD Cubao (there is another shoe maker mentioned to me but I forgot who) - They made McShine's Jumpboots and my brown boots. I think Jojo knows another shoe maker who does it for the same cost.
Masterchief (Omar) - club member. Can convert your M14 to a garand via wood kit.
Hobby Shop (Jojo is this where you bought those grenades?) - i had to mention this because this seems to me the only place where the ww2 style pineapple grenades are available.
Pumba (Noy) - thats me. I still have some M-38 2R and 1R size leggings and some cross rifle pins to give a way for free. As long as you are part of this WW2 group, I will give you.
168 Mall - under the escalators where they sell the airsoft guns. I saw some new M1 style helmets with cork pattern. They are black so you will have to paint them. They dont have ww2 straps and no liner. Last I checked they were selling for only P600. That was 2 years ago. You can buy the liner at the military supplies shops at Camp Crame in Santolan QC. Liner sells for P150 i think.
Guys
Lets consolidate our suppliers at this thread. This should help each of us with more stuff for future meets.

Hmmm, let's see, there's janet fernando at the kamuning market: tel. 411-2603/cel. 0917-7612803, She put together my entire german tunic, undershirt and pants for under 4k (not including the cloth). I figure she can copy pretty much anything as she did a decent job with my stuff. Not only that, she already has the pattern.
I bought my feldgrau cotton twill material at yards and meters, basement bldg b mega mall. Right now its about 250 per yard. Count on using about 4-5 yards for pants and jacket.
I'm making W SS sleeve eagles so anyone who wants can just give me a buzz here. I'm selling them for 150 a pop. BTW, I've now found an accurate match for the sleeve eagle i'm selling so it's no longer too farby.
I saw double hook thick leather belts at bench for 750. When i saw them, they were 40% off. These will do for the double hook officer's belts.

Wow, now all we need is a local leather worker to make gear like Y-straps, Belts, ammo pouches etc.

Do the original m1 liners have correct leather chinstraps? Only WW2 and Korea era liners had the leather chin strap pins although you could find them still used into the 80's. Later ones such as those produced during the VN era and later did not have or use the chin strap so there was no pin inside the liner

Thanks a lot, these are great sites. ;D Although I don't quite get the price tags on ACG top gear, most of their products have a P1.00 price tag. I'm wondering though if having a local tailor make me a uniform (German m36 field tunic [non-wool] + pants) be a lot better in terms of price and quality than one from ebay. The prices on ebay are fine. If we add the shipping, I just find it too expensive already. I'll probably see if I can find specifications for German uniforms. Btw, does anyone of you own a German uniform?

@ jonluceroo7 - Over here i manila, we just found a tailor and gave him a LOT of reference pictures. Since then, all of us have been going to the same tailor. I'm sure you can find a competent tailor in cebu and have the uniform copied from pics as well. I suggest you first decide on what impression (German SS or Heer) you want to do 1st. And do some research (there are some great reference threads on this site). Then, download as many reference pics as possible. A good source for reference pics that the tailor can copy is www.atthefront.com. For the field gear, so far you have no choice but to order online. I've gotten most of my stuff from Hikishop on ebay. For the helmet - if you want a steel repro, ebay is the place to buy. But a fiberglass german helmet is also being sold by jnmodeller on these forums. I'm sure he can ship them to you. If you're looking for boots - the easy way would be to buy any locally made period looking ankle boots and use gaiters. If you want Jack boots, you can order east german surplus jackboots online, or have a local shoe maker make them for you. Hope this helps and i hope you can join one of our events in the near future!
