Their customer are mostly Europe based and they're a big supplier of spare parts here ( if I got it right ). I think a company in UK and Switzerland. I used to google and youtube Jeep since this is also my dream and got a hit with Phil based maker. I said the above because if I'm right I don't think you can order direct to them if they're contracted somewhere else . Doing this will under cut their major customer. Hope I was wrong though, so that Pinoy can easily access their service. www.mdjuan.com.ph/index.php

any idea how much a jeep will cost? If the odd-even scheme pushes through, maybe I can afford this for an alternate car heh heh

Hehehe, that would be an interesting alternate "car", its around the vicinity of Php 200- 250t to have a decent one, you can save more if your not particularly picky, and go for a little modern underchassis and engine, but the cosmetics are vintage looking, owner jeep running chassis are fairly cheap, a few modifications to raise them up, and you can mount a fresh repro body and build in little by little. Let me know if when you plan to, i'll connect you with rommel or his production team : )

Yup i'd like a ww2 jeep as well sometime in the future. Although a vietnam era m151 would be to shabby as well ;D
Time to save up.

me to i would like to have one, but would consider the Beetle to it still the cheapest to convert and it will go with my Dak impression.

JN, not necessarily the cheapest alternative. You would have to convert the early body beetle (1958-63) or the Brazilian beetle (1974-84), so that you would have the proper sized windshield and side windows. There are fiberglass split rear window and rear engine 'W' shaped decklids available in the US. You can also order a cloth sunroof conversion if you want the Commander's version. I suggest you stick to the modern engine and hydraulic transmission/brake system, because the original 1100 cc engine, cable brakes (like a bike!) and non-synchronized original transmission won't be too much fun to drive. Oh, and you'd have to convert the dashboard as well (speedometer in the center, 2 open glove compartments on each side) and look for the 3-spoke steering wheel. Did you know that the original WW2 beetles had 16 inch rims instead of the common 15 inch rims? The modifications mentioned above already puts you in the P300-P400K range. I know; we thought about it in the VW Club. The Kubel kit conversion is still the easiest way to go, in my opinion.
