Good morning folks,
I've got a package arriving from hiki shop shortly before our Dec 6 meet. (or not). Just wondering if EMS accepts pick up by authorized representatives as i won't have time to pick it up myself. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, you can send a representative. Just fill up the back of the notice. I think it can already serve as the authorization but have your guy bring a letter just in case....and lots of extra cash. EMS sharks are very unpredictable. I've had both large and small, boxed, enveloped packages charged the minimum PHP35 all the way to 3500. Until now i can't predict how much my taxes will be when i get a package from EMS.

Labrador, I just got my items and paid the tax. Yes, Jimmi's right. Make a fake invoice that your messenger will bring. Your smock would be $18, belt and buckle at $10, cover at $5. Something to show to the inspector, my $20 declaration cost me P1,420.00.
