When the wife and kids are asleep... I take these out to pet and smell The real ones. They're locked, socked, cased, stored away, out of sight otherwise. (and that's why I have so much spent brass to add as accents to the display) (click for bigger) Garand Springfield 1903 Any of you guys happen to come by the Philadelphia area... I'll take you out to the range

Kalbs, Maybe all you need is just a tiny corner where you can artfully display a small part of your collection. You can then rotate the theme and items... one month it's US Airborne... the next German stuff and so on.

Great collections you got there.
I'm planning to do the same in one corner of my apartment, problem is the dust.

I'm planning on doing the same to my kitchen area. Problem is the whole family frequents the area. Plus its overcrowded right now with my kids bikes and mine.
