And now some news. The December 8 reenactment is ON. We now have the approval and support of the Chief of Staff AFP. This will be taking place at the Army Parade Ground at fort Bonifacio. The main subject will be the Battle at the Abucay line (modified script from the PSHS reunion). We are aiming at having at least 30 reenactors per side. We are recruiting for a possible 5 more reenactors per side. forces represented will be Takeo Imai's 141st infantry regiment, 57th Infantry Regiment (PS) and 41st Division PA. We may have some scenes involving 26th Cavalry (PS) as well. Our Director will be Noel Guevara. The script is expected to last 15-20 minutes. We will have 4 rehearsal dates (Sundays) scheduled from October to November. Those who wish to play major roles are expected to rehearse on those dates. Those who cannot, can still attend but will be relegated to lesser roles depending on degree of practice achieved. This will be the largest battle reenactment attempted thus far in the Philippines and our beneficiaries will again be the HERO Foundation. Our partners in this endeavour will. be our friends at MD Juan.
I Will now open up a discussion group in our OLD FORUM so that things can be discussed din detail. Things to discuss will be unit assignments, gear loans/rental/acquisitions, weapons, team leaders, food and other things.
We thought Manila was big. This will be bigger. I hope everyone can join in the madness. Good luck to us!

louiejo1: I have designed and built a pretty faithful reproduction of the WW2 Japanese Type 89 Knee mortar for airsoft use. I takes standard 40mm gas grenades and has an effective range when held at a 45 degree angle of 120-130 ft.
