It has been confirmed to me by a major airsoft gUN Company supplier in Hong Kong(their owner) "Confirmed!" (his words and repeated many times) that AGM has been shut down indefinitely and yes the owner has been sent to prison for 10 years. The story goes, one of the staff decided to use the AGM factory for making real guns. That is a major No, no in China and in China it is the boss who also does time whether he was involved or not.
My thought... if you haven't bought that MP44, MP40 or sten or associated magazines or parts yet... you had better get on it fast

Yup, I'll be buying that second sten this weekend and more MP44 Magazines. I think the bigger hit will be to those guys who have been investing in the GBB guns lately.

The good news is that SRC still makes a nice blowback MP40 AEG but they are hard to find even in Hong Kong. Marui still make the M1A1 and M14 for conversions... It will all just take more money... Crap
Bad news is nobody else makes the MP44 and this attack on out manufacturers may affect the Dboyi kar98k

Here, Finally i found an alternative (like kalbs said) for AGM's MP40 and a separate Hi-cap mag but a little pricey www.airsoft-war4.com/w4_aeg.php?b=SRCjust wondering if SRC hi-cap mag is compatible w/ AGM MP40 AEG?

Yes, the SRC is awsome with full blowback and 8mm bearings in the gearbox. The AGM and SRC magazines are not compatible with each other.

Oh well. Hopefully, someone new will come along who is as innovative as AGM. Someone who will cater to the needs of our small niche in airsoft. Someone who will make the MG42. Maybe AGM will sell their molds? Sad...

Rats! Major setback to reenactments and airsoft.
When I heard this, I immediately bought two spare magazines for my Cyma M14 Scout/SOCOM because they might also become unavailable. There goes any prospects for having a China-made US M1903 Springfield or M1 Garand rifles commercialized in the near future.
I was planning to buy a DBoyi Kar98K to complement my Guardia Civil Veteranos / Tiradores del Muerte layout. I hope there's still a few of those at the Bodega in Divisoria.
BTW, there's a plastic airsoft helmet similar to but slightly smaller than a US World-War-II combat helmet and could substitute for it. I found it along Quiapo near the Ma Mon Luk restaurant and it's about P300 only.
BTW, Ma Mon Luk still serves a pre-war 1920s-30s style Chinese fastfood that's still the best of its kind (siopao, siomai, mami).
P.S. When you say AGM, is that the same as ACM (All-China-Made)? Not sure if all airsoft manufacturers in Mainland China are affected or just one/some.
