Can anyone help me with this? My mom's going to HK in a few days and I would really like to know where you can buy repro German stuff there. And are those stuff cheaper than the stuff on ebay?

Some stuff can be cheaper at G.I. Military Shop, it depends what you are looking for. It is located in Mong kok on Dundass street. It would be cheaper for me to buy there than your mom, what do you need?

Sir, I'm looking for an EM belt (I already ordered the buckle before I knew my mom was going to HK ) or y-straps, or probably K98 pouches. What I'll buy depends on the price, sir.

The best Y-suspenders I've ever recieved came from HIKI (ebay) Very well made and look great. Better than the ones you will find in Hong Kong. What belt buckle; SS, Heer, Luftwaffe? You can get the pouches and buckle here from Peter as well as other stuff. I just stopped by his shop today and bought the Assault pack with A frame for HK$400 (us$50).

Sir, would you know how much the kar98 pouches and the belt (without the buckle) are? My mom arrived there today and it's her free day tomorrow (I believe they are touring on the other days of their trip) so she can buy from GI Military.

No idea MV. She will need to know your waist size for the belt though. Peter's shop opens after 1:30 BTW

My mom just arrived from HK. She had no military gear to give to me whatsoever. Apparently, the people at GI Military Shop didn't understand what it was that she wanted. LOL
Should've given my mom a picture to show the people at the shop. Oh well, there's always next time (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a trip to HK next year with my relatives).

That's a bummer. Yes, their Eisn't good, especially if Peter isn't there. You have to do a lot of pointing and grunting sometimes. Can you really wait till next year?

@ Sir Kalbs: As most of the veterans here have said, patience is a virtue. But if I do really run out of it, I have no choice but to order online . And thanks again for your help. @ Sir Jimmi: Thanks for the offer! I'll just try contacting you, sir, if my sked's okay.

MV: don't rush everything you want to have...you'll burn out and find yourself collecting other stuff instead. Or do what Jimmi's doing, scratch built your own stuff, then buy it when you have the bucks.
