I have briefed the wife on the rehearsal and so far have not heard any vehement responses or dirty looks. Might cost me a lunch in Pampanga though. I can also lend out a Tommy gun. Medic, does this offer extend to the re-enactment day itself? Ok if I borrow your tommy gun? My current stock of guns are either axis ww2 or modern. thanks.

Guys, looks like we'll either dry run at UP or at quezon memorial circle round 9 AM. It will probably NOT be a full dress rehearsal because we have no idea how the natives will react. It will be a dry run (or a few) to familiarize everyone with the flow, blocking and sequence of the presentation. We will also be workshopping on how tactical movements should be carried out in a manner matching the period (no "tacticool" carry. We'll also practice ducking artillery and other movements.

UP might be a better venue for practice. The "natives" react better there and there are more open spaces available (sunken garden, lagoon, track oval, harap ng College of Music, etc.).

UP security guards do not take kindly to airsoft guns. We'll be needing a permit.

We will not be using airsoft guns/uniforms for the rehearsal. It will simply be a walk through of the operations with a short tutorial on how to carry weapons/move like a WW2 soldier. We can go play airsoft in the afternoon if anyone's intersted.

If the practice is in UP I suggest the field in front of the College of Music (near University Avenue). The academic oval is closed to traffic on Sundays, so the sunken garden will be far from parking areas or public transport.
To get there, turn left at the intersection on University Avenue (the last road before you hit the academic oval, which you cannot enter on Sundays; it's the turn with two jeep stops across each other along Univ. Ave.). Go straight until you reach the College of Human Kinetics then turn right. Turn right at the next intersection then go straight, the College of Music is at the corner, with plenty of parking.
