Here's my on-a-budget Impression of a Soviet Naval Infantry (Baltic Fleet)Kit list -Soviet Naval Hat A.K.A. Donald duck hat (modern type has a larger crown, with repro baltic fleet tally and repro Beskozirka red star)-Naval Middy Shirt (modern also but almost same as WW2, removed shoulder loop)-Naval Wool Trouser (Post war type)-Naval Pea Coat (Post war, still missing sleeve star and rating patch)-Jack Boots (Russian surplus)-Naval Belt and Buckle (Russian surplus)-Maxim MG Cloth Ammo Belt (Bolivian surplus, post war, still missing 7.62x54R cartridge)-RDG-33 Grenade Pouch (Post war surplus)  Impression Reference site www.rkka-northwest.org/morskoipekhoty.htm

I have other plan for my soviet weapon... a Tokarev SVT 40, already have some bit of parts, some is on the way to me, and the main part is the wood stock coming from Poland.

ooh, i've always wanted to build a SVT40 using an A&K springer Dragunov. What will you be using for the conversion? Base on my measurement, fitting a M14 gearbox into the stock is pretty achievable... and beside i want it to perform like the real counter part "semi-auto" |
